Peter Angus a volunteer with Shopmobility Highland has been recognised for his many years of Community Service by the Lord Lieutenant Janet Bowen, who presented him with the British Empire Medal.
Peter has been a Shopmobility Highland volunteer driver for the past 16 years based at Dingwall. Every Wednesday he drives one of the Shopmobility Highland minibuses collecting scheme members from their respective homes and brings them into the city centre. On arrival, the other volunteers have mobility products waiting for those who need them, enabling members to access the city and do shopping or just enjoy a day out. (more…)
