It is all ‘go’ at the NFSUK HQ as we prepare the new membership packs to leave the office. We hope you had an enjoyable festive period with your loved ones and as a new year begins, it is time for new year’s resolutions. For some people, this will include resolutions such as giving more to charity or volunteering. We urge you to seek out your local shopmobility scheme and choose to support them during 2019.
The NFSUK office is closed from today (Wednesday) at 12:30pm until 9:30am on the 2nd of January2019. We hope you all have a very merry festive season and get to spend it with your loved ones. Remember to hug them a little tighter this year everyday is a blessing. May your 2019 be a wonderful year for you all.
The Tom Hillier Award was created after the passing of NFSUK founder Tom Hillier in 1991. The Award celebrates the scheme within the National Federation who has shown exceptional service to their members. This year we had 5 shortlisted schemes, which resulted in 1 highly commended certificate being awarded alongside the main Tom Hillier Trophy.
The Tom Hillier Award is presented at the British Healthcare Trades Awards Dinner at the end of the year. This Award ceremony celebrates the best in British healthcare, from innovation to end product, from customer service to life time achievement. This year it was held on the 29th of November at the Alton Towers Hotel in Staffordshire.
